Multimedia-video-interface voor BMW iDrive CIC- en CIC2-systemen
Algemeen
Met de NavInc-interfaces kunt u videobronnen aansluiten op het originele navigatiesysteem van BMW.
De interface zorgt ervoor dat er een ingang wordt aangemaakt op het originele navigatiesysteem waarop verschillende externe videobronnen kunnen worden aangesloten (bijv. dvd-speler, DVB-T-tv, iPod, achteruitrijcamera, externe navigatiesystemen enz.). De beelden worden weergegeven op het navigatiescherm. De audio van de videobronnen moet via een AUX-ingang of FM-modulator worden doorgegeven.

U kunt met de meegeleverde knop of afstandsbediening, of via de iDrive-knop, schakelen tussen de videobronnen.

Camerafunctie
Via de camera-ingang van de interface kan een camerasysteem van derden op het iDrive-systeem worden aangesloten. Het camerabeeld wordt automatisch op het scherm weergegeven wanneer de auto in de achteruitversnelling wordt gezet. De camera heeft 4 verschillende weergavetypen:

Parkeerrichtlijnen
In het camerabeeld op het scherm kunnen parkeerrichtlijnen worden weergegeven. Zo kunt u de afstand tot het object waar u naartoe rijdt veel gemakkelijker inschatten. De richtlijnen zijn zowel horizontaal als verticaal verstelbaar, zodat u de lijnen op de auto kunt afstellen.
Picture-in-Picture-functie*
Wanneer het navigatiesysteem behouden blijft, kunt u tijdens het achteruitrijden de functie "Picture in Picture" gebruiken. Deze functie heeft drie verschillende weergavetypen:
-Type 1, camera op volledig scherm en PDC-beeld in de linkerbovenhoek
-Type 2, camera op volledig scherm en PDC-beeld in het midden
-Type 3, camera op volledig scherm en PDC-beeld in de rechterbovenhoek
